Abstract
To address the issue of short tool life caused by excessive cutting force in traditional aluminum foil cutting equipment,a rotary aluminum foil cutting machine was designed.Structural design and parameter optimization of the rotary cutter were conducted to reduce cutting force and extend tool service life.Based on the contact mechanics relationship between the tool and aluminum foil material,the influencing factors of cutting force were simulated and analyzed using the finite element software LS DYNA and response surface methodology RSM.The interaction of three factors including blade angle,blade thickness,and rotary cutter speed on cutting force was investigated,and a multivariate regression prediction model with cutting force as the response variable was established.Results showed that the order of influence of the three factors on cutting force was blade angle greater than rotary cutter speed greater than blade thickness.With the goal of minimizing cutting force,the optimal parameter combination was determined as blade angle 15 degrees,blade thickness 1.5 mm,and rotary cutter speed 70 r/min.Experimental validation under these optimized conditions yielded an average cutting force of 259.10 N,with a mean relative error of 5.73 percent compared to the predicted value.This study provides a theoretical basis for improving the processing performance of aluminum foil cutting equipment and extending tool service life.关键词
