Identification and Expression Analysis of Grape Class Ⅲ Peroxidase Gene Family

Abstract
Class Ⅲ peroxidases(PRXs)play crucial roles in plant growth,development,and stress responses.In this study,74 VvPRXs genes were identified from the grape genome through genome-wide analysis.Phylogenetic classification divided them into five distinct groups.Domain and conserved motif analyses revealed that VvPRXs harbor the typical peroxidase domain,with highly conserved protein sequences.Collinearity analysis identified 17 tandem duplication and 11 segment duplication events in grape chromosomes,along with 39 and 34 orthologous gene pairs with Arabidopsis and rice,respectively.Cis-acting element analysis suggested potential roles of VvPRXs in growth regulation and hormone/stress signaling pathways.Expression profiling demonstrated that VvPRX36 acted as a central regulator in salt stress response,VvPRX16 and VvPRX46 were specifically responsive to cold stress,while VvPRX52,VvPRX51,VvPRX34,VvPRX68,VvPRX31,and VvPRX71 were markedly induced under drought conditions.Pathogen infection assays showed that Botrytis cinerea induced the upregulation of VvPRX71 and VvPRX33,whereas Xylella fastidiosa infection specifically activated VvPRX23 expression.These findings systematically elucidate the evolutionary features and stress-responsive mechanisms of the VvPRXs family,providing critical candidate genes for molecular breeding to enhance stress tolerance in grapevines.关键词
