摘要

Abstract

The"Three Entries"work puts forward higher requirements for the information literacy of translation teach-ers.On the basis of clarifying the concept of information literacy,this study constructed a framework of information literacy from the three dimensions that are information belief,general information literacy and professional information literacy,and developed a questionnaire to investigate the current status of information literacy of translation teachers in Chongqing.The study showed:the overall level of translation teachers' information literacy is high;information literacy has significant cor-relation with teachers' title,age,and seniority of teaching experience;and factors such as gender,experience abroad,and academic qualifications have different degrees of influence on various indicators of information literacy.Addressing the is-sue of insufficient information literacy among translation teachers,this paper explores pathways for improving information literacy from four aspects:optimizing the external environment for teacher development,expanding learning channels,en-hancing practical approaches,and incorporating the concept of curriculum-based ideological and political education.
