Abstract
The educational thoughts of school principals have increasingly become the core driving force for the devel-opment of schools.Based on 155 reports of principal educational thoughts from the National Advanced Research Pro-gram for Excellent Principals of Excellent Secondary Schools organized by the Ministry of Education from 2010 to 2024,through content analysis and using NVivo software for coding and theme extraction,this study systematically explores the diachronic characteristics of the educational thoughts of outstanding principals in the process of policy changes.The research finds that principal educational thoughts have regional differences,and policy design needs to reserve space for local adaptation;principal educational thoughts have responsiveness to the times,and principal training should strengthen the dual roles of leaders;principal educational thoughts are creative,and school operation practices should shift from passive execution to local innovation.This study reveals the adaptive choices and develop-ment of principal educational thoughts in the face of policy changes,providing theoretical basis and practical refer-ences for the cultivation of educationalist-type principals.关键词
