How Does School Vitality Influence Teaching Innovation Among Primary and Secondary School Teachers?The Mediating Role of Teaching Autonomy and The Moderating Role of Work Stress

Abstract
Teachers are essential to basic education reform.To investigate the stimulating mechanisms behind teaching innovation,this study constructs a model based on social cognitive theory to examine the mechanism through which school vitality influences teachers'teaching innovation.It further investigates the mediating role of teaching autonomy and the moderating effect of work stress in this relationship.Using a questionnaire survey of 343 primary and seconda-ry school teachers,results demonstrate that school vitality serves as a robust positive predictor of teaching innovation.This relationship is partially mediated by teaching autonomy and directly moderated by work stress.These findings contribute to advancing teacher innovation:first,enhance school vitality to establish an organizational ecological foun-dation for teaching innovation;second,safeguard teaching autonomy to strengthen the intrinsic driving force for teach-ing innovation;third,alleviate faculty work stress and explore building new human-machine symbiotic educational scenarios.These results demonstrate the dynamic between school organizational ecology and teacher agency,offering theoretical and practical implications for fostering teacher development.关键词
