Analysis of major quality standard indicators of chromium picolinate
摘要
Abstract
Conventional quality control indicators for chromium picolinate,including limits for contaminants,microbiological criteria,moisture content,and chromium content,were selected for comparative study of detection methods and limit requirements.Quality standards from regions such as the United States and the European Union were compared to domestic regulations.28 batches of chromium picolinate samples were tested and results were analyzed for the above indicators.Results showed that the level of contaminants and microorganisms in all samples met the quality standard of both domestic and international regulations.However,the chromium content in some batches was found to be lower than the requirements specified by foreign standards.It was concluded that the overall quality of chromium picolinate products on the domestic market was stable,it was recommended that national standards for chromium picolinate as a raw material be established and limits and corresponding testing methods for hexavalent chromium in these materials be developed.关键词
