Effects of Different Load Treatments on Berry Quality of'Cuiguang'Grapes

Abstract
To compare the effects of different crop loads on the quality of grape fruits in the multi-bay greenhouse,the grape variety'Cuiguang'was used as the test material,and the crop loads were controlled by fruit thinning.Using non-thinned vines as the control,three different thinning treatments were set up:85%fruit retention per cluster(T1),70%fruit retention per cluster(T2),and 50%fruit retention per cluster(T3).The results showed that compared to the control,T3 treatment increased berry weight by 11.08%,vertical diameter by 6.39%,ratio of total soluble solid to titratable acid by 18.39%,skin anthocyanin content by 43.40%,berry firmness by 18.43%,and calcium,iron,and sodium contents of the berries by 36.38%,27.43%,and 21.43%,respectively.Meanwhile,T3 treatment reduced titratable acidity,tartaric acid,and malic acid contents by 10.80%,6.05%and 11.08%,respectively.A comprehensive evaluation of 22 fruit quality-related indicators in'Cuiguang'grapes under different treatments revealed that the ranking was T3,T2,and T1.Fruit thinning treatments significantly increased the economic benefits of'Cuiguang'grapes,with T2 yielding the highest economic benefits.In conclusion,fruit thinning treatments were advantageous for improving both the quality and economic value of'Cuiguang'grapes,and 70%fruit retention per cluster treatment achieved a better balance between berry quality and economic benefits,resulting in the highest economic benefits.When the fruit retention rate was reduced to 50%per cluster,the fruit quality was optimal,but the economic benefits were significantly lower than those at a 70%retention rate.关键词
