中国西部地区粮食产业现状、问题及高质量发展路径建议
Current Situation,Problems and Suggestions on the Path to High-quality Development of Grain Industry in the Western Region of China

Abstract
[Objective]The western region of China encompasses 12 provinces,which is not only a crucial region for supporting the stable increase of grain production in China,but also a key area for promoting the adjustment of the grain structure,green transformation,and integrated development of the grain industry.Under the backdrop of the new era,promoting the high-quality development of the grain industry in the western region is of great significance for optimizing the national industrial layout of food security,enhancing the capacity for ensuring food security,and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of the grain industry.[Method]From multiple perspectives such as resource endowment,basic support,and comparative benefits,this paper systematically examines the development achievements and restrictive factors of the grain industry in the western region,and identifies the direction of industrial transformation.[Result]The sown area of grains,the total output,and the yield per unit area in the western region have all shown a gradually increasing trend,and the grain variety structure is also being optimized.However,restricted by geographical location constraints,insuf-ficient infrastructure support,and shortcomings in scientific and technological empowerment,the improvement of the grain industrys competitiveness faces systemic challenges.[Conclusion]To enhance the quality and ef-ficiency of grain production in the western region,it is urgent to take measures from aspects including consolidat-ing infrastructure support,improving the comprehensive capabilities of grain producers,strengthening the driv-ing force of science and technology,transforming the mode of grain production,and perfecting supportive poli-cies,in accordance with the characteristics of different regions and the actual grain situation,so as to create a development environment that stabilizes and promotes grain production.关键词
