On the Spirit of Educators and Its Cultivation:Connotation Interpretation,Implicit Logic and Practical Paths

Abstract
The high-quality development of education and the building of a powerful nation of education require the spirit of educators.President Xi Jinping has put forward six aspects of the spirit of educators,among which"heart with great self,utmost sincerity in serving the country"indicates the direction for teachers to cultivate themselves and engage in the profession."Speech as a model for scholars,behavior as a norm for the world"sets the internal requirements for being a teacher and mentor."Enlightening wisdom and nourishing the heart,teaching according to students'aptitude"summarizes the practical methods of cultivating morality and fostering talents."Diligent in study and steadfast in action,seeking truth and innovation"reveals the general laws of enhancing intelligence and generating wisdom."Taking pleasure in teaching and loving students,being willing to contribute"points out the basic prerequisites for in-depth teaching and good nurtur-ing."Having a global vision and educating people with culture"emphasizes the due pattern of a great country's fine teach-ers.The spirit of educators encompasses the professional development logic of"learning-practice-research"integration,the nurturing action logic of"cognition-emotion-will"combination,and the life growth logic of"self-cultivation-nur-turing others-promoting the doctrines"progression.To cultivate the spirit of educators,teachers need to enhance their moral integrity through the integration of the way and virtue,develop a diligent attitude in the progression from knowledge to wisdom,enhance their nurturing wisdom in actions that carry goodness deeply,cultivate a heart of benevolence in the unity of sincerity and self-dedication,and strengthen their ideals and beliefs and the pursuit of promoting the way in the daily routine of perseverance.关键词
