Research Progress on Protective Mechanism of The Main Active Ingredients of Scutellaria baicalensis on Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Abstract
[Objective]To further understand the protective effect and mechanism of Scutellaria baicalensis on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.[Method]This paper summarized the relevant literature at home and abroad,and comprehensively expounded the possible mechanism of its prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease from the aspects of liver lipid metabolism pathway,oxidative stress,inflammatory pathway,and cell ferroptosis pathway.[Result]The mechanism of baicalein,baicalin,and traditional Chinese medicine decoc-tion in treating NAFLD may be related to various pathways such as regulating lipid metabolism,oxidative stress,and inflammatory response.Although there is a large amount of basic experimental research to prove its effectiveness,there is a lack of population experiments to verify it,and there are certain shortcomings in the research on its translational applications.[Conclusion]It provides a scientific basis for the development and utilization of Scutellaria baicalensis for clinical application in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.关键词
