Abstract
With the independence of education from production and daily life,teachers have thus acquired a distinct professional identity.However,teachers have different titles across eras and fields.A diachronic analysis of the evo-lution of teachers'titles,combined with a cross-field examination of their variations,enables a more comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the factors influencing teachers'professional development.The change of teacher's ap-pellation is deeply influenced by the nature of educational institutions,the composition of teaching content and the i-dentity of the educated.Historically,the appellation has determined the legitimate status of teachers,which in turn directly shapes their social status and professional prestige.Reflecting on the current needs of teachers'professional growth and career development,it is imperative to attach great importance to meeting the educational needs of the country and society,taking this as the basic standard for educational attainment.Moreover,students'development should be regarded as an important basis for judging teachers'professional competence and teaching effectiveness,and it is necessary to clarify the decisive role of deeply grasping and understanding the teaching content in professional development.关键词
