The Spatial Turn in Ideological and Political Education:A Case Study of Hunan's"Fangcao Program"in Practice

Abstract
Traditional ideological and political education faces the"disembedding"of confined physical spaces,one-dimensional social relations,and diluted spiritual significance,which severely undermines its educational effectiveness.Based on Marxist spatial theory and Lefebvre's"production of space"theory,a tripartite analytical framework for the production of ideological and political education space,consisting of the planning layer,practice layer,and identity layer,can be constructed.Taking Hunan Province's"Fangcao Program"as an example,this project leverages red resources to systematically shift ideological and political education from static knowledge transmission to dynamic spatial production practices through narrative reconstruction,embodied practice,technological integration,and social collaboration.This transformation is driven by a fourfold logic:political guidance,embodied participation,technological empowerment,and collaborative education.Looking ahead,efforts should be made to promote spatial justice through tiered planning,construct meaning-oriented smart educational spaces,and implement process-oriented comprehensive evaluation mechanisms,thereby building a distinctive Chinese system for the production of ideological and political education space and tangibly enhancing its educational efficacy.关键词
