Design of an offline cigarette carton association and sealing machine

Abstract
To address the issues of high labor dependence,low production efficiency,and susceptibility to data association errors in the offline processing of semi-finished cigarette cartons,an offline cigarette carton association and sealing machine was designed.Through an analysis of the process requirements,a complete workflow was planned,covering automatic feeding,flap opening,small pack suction and code scanning,correlation verification,glue application and lid sealing,as well as posture conversion.Emphasis was placed on the development of a small pack suction-based code scanning and correlation mechanism using vacuum suction cups,along with modular core units.Prototype test results showed that the equipment achieved an average production efficiency of 9 cartons/min,with a consistent association sealing pass rate exceeding 98.47%.It was capable of accurately identifying and rejecting defective products with blurred,damaged,or otherwise unreadable barcodes.This study provides a reliable technical solution for the automated processing of semi-finished cigarette cartons.关键词
