保身、立身与修身:庄子身体哲学的道德诠释
Body-preservation,Self-establishment,and Self-cultivation:A Moral Interpretation of Zhuangzi's Philosophy of the Body
摘要
Abstract
Zhuangzi's philosophy of the body possesses significant moral implications.Morality,in this context,re-spects and reveres the natural existence of the physical form(xing),capable of balancing the inherent tension between"form"(xing)and"heart/mind"(xin),thereby guiding the development of a healthy and sound body.Current deficiencies in moral interpretation are reflected in several ways:the suppression and destruction of the body caused by body"stereo-types";the loss of selfhood(shen-xin mi shi)stemming from the moral"game of otherness"(tazai)imposed on the self-body;and the practice,after concealing the physical form,where morality becomes"invisible when it should manifest and vanishes when it should appear".To address this,starting from the individual's body and its relation to others,we should:deepen the moral understanding of the body,retrieve its inherent equality and simplicity(supu),thereby achieving body-preservation(baoshen);correctly comprehend the relativity of morality,stimulate the body's innate propensity towards goodness,thereby realizing self-establishment(lishen);and expand the cosmic horizon of morality,enrich the meaning of the body's"destiny/vital force"(ming),thereby accomplishing self-cultivation(xiushen).关键词
