What Key Competencies Should Postgraduates of the"National Excellent Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Program"Possess?

Abstract
Against the background of the in-depth advancement of the strategy to build the leading country in education,en-hancing the overall quality of the teaching workforce has become a crucial support.As a key initiative for cultivating out-standing future science teachers,the"National Excellent Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Program"(hereaf-ter referred to as the"National Excellence Program")has emerged at the historic moment.However,the current postgradu-ate training under the"National Excellence Program"is still in the preliminary exploration stage,and there remain problems such as relatively vague goal implementation and the lack of a systematically established competency system.To improve the implementation effectiveness of this program,based on the grounded theory,the study takes 7 policy documents and 34 in-terview transcripts as research objects,and constructs the I-LEAD key competency model for postgraduates in the"National Excellence Program".This model covers five core dimensions:profound educational ideal,top-tier learning ability,rich practical experience,broad academic perspective,and diverse dialectical thinking.This model provides a clear capability map for the cultivation of"National Excellence Program"graduate students,and offers theoretical support and practical guidance for the subsequent implementation of the plan.关键词
