Challenges and Solutions:An Exploration of the Implementation of the"National Excellence Teacher Program"Master of Education in Comprehensive Universities

Abstract
The National Excellent Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Program(It is simply called"National Excellence Teacher Program")is an innovative initiative designed to prepare high-caliber science teachers and advance Chi-na's development into a leading country in education,but the complexity of policy implementation far exceeds policy con-ception.Based on participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with W University,it was found that the compre-hensive university's"National Excellent Teacher Program"of Education master has developed coordinated mechanisms be-yond traditional departmental divisions,established a school level joint training system,formed a"four mentor"co-educa-tion model,built high-end practice bases,and installed student-school interaction channels.However,it also faces difficul-ties such as a shortage of subject teaching degree point,a small number of undergraduate students of itself university,insuf-ficient teacher training,worrying academic degree quality and generally low willingness to teach.Breaking through the diffi-culties,comprehensive universities urgently need to establish"National Excellence Teacher Program"educational and re-search entities,reshape their own student identification and training mechanisms,create a new form of"National Excellence Teacher Program"training,build a"four in one"quality assurance system,and promote the priority of graduates to teach.关键词
