Abstract
A high-throughput screening method based on the promoting effect of pepsin was established to provide a scientific basis for rapid identification of digestion-enhancing Chinese herbal medicines.Using tyrosine as the positive control,a multifunctional microplate reader and 96-well microplates were employed as the experimental platform.After optimization of reaction conditions,200 extracts from Chinese medicinal herbs were systematically screened and evaluated.Among these 200 species,heat-clearing herbs and exterior-resolving herbs exhibited higher proportions of high activity,while tonifying herbs and mineral-based herbs predominantly showed low activity.The established screening method demonstrated stability,high efficiency,and cost-effectiveness,making it suitable for rapid screening of Chinese medicinal herbs and natural compounds.This approach provides a valuable reference for the development and research of herbal medicines targeting digestive function improvement.关键词
