本文通过高压均质法制备了β-环糊精稳定的薄荷精油Pickering乳液,将该乳液加入壳聚糖溶液流延制备负载精油的凝胶膜,研究薄荷精油载量对凝胶膜性能的影响.结果表明,环糊精稳定薄荷精油Pickering乳液由油滴堆积于外水相而成,粒径 89 nm、Zeta电位-32.5mV,对外界振荡有很好稳定性.将乳液加入壳聚糖溶液制膜,油滴分散度良好,无油析现象发生.随着薄荷精油载量的增加,凝胶膜透明度下降、黄色色度增加,膜吸湿性和水蒸气透过性有不同程度降低;薄荷精油乳液的添加可显著提高凝胶膜的拉伸强度,但柔韧性有所下降;顶空浓度测定表明负载薄荷精油的凝胶膜具有缓释薄荷精油的特性.

This study focused on the preparation of β-cyclodextrin-stabilized peppermint essential oil Pickering emulsion using the high-pressure homogenization method.Subsequently,the emulsion was incorporated into a chitosan solution and cast to form an essential oil-loaded gel film.The impact of peppermint essential oil loading on the gel film's performance was thoroughly investigated.The results indicated that the cyclodextrin-stabilized peppermint essential oil Pickering emulsion comprised oil droplets aggregated in the external water phase,exhibiting a particle size of 89 nm,a zeta potential of-32.5 mV,and robust stability against external oscillations.When being introduced into the chitosan solution for film formation,the emulsion ensured uniform dispersion of oil droplets without precipitation.Increasing peppermint essential oil loading leaded to a reduction in film transparency,an increase in gel yellowness,and various degrees of reduction in hygroscopicity and water vapor permeability.Remarkably,the addition of peppermint essential oil emulsion significantly enhanced the tensile strength of the gel film,but albeit at the expense of flexibility.Headspace concentration measurements revealed that gel film loaded with peppermint essential oil exhibited its sustained release characteristics.This study provides valuable insights on the interplay between peppermint essential oil loading and the properties of gel films,offering potential applications in controlled release systems and functional films.
